The SAIG serial number is the unique number that is assigned to each individual car restraint during manufacturing. It can be found on the Australian Standards red 5-tick sticker and is the number found down the right hand side. It is either two letters followed by 6 digits or will start with the letters SAIG followed by 9 digits. This sticker is normally placed on the back of the restraint, to prevent it from being peeled off by children sitting in or next to the restraint.
